August 19 - Sunday (2-4 PM)
Blue Mountain Sunrise - traditional & Old Time Mountain Music. Special entertainment for the children. Flat footing demonstrations.

September 2 - Sunday (2-4 PM)
Close Enough - Local Band with a Blue Grass Sound and Traditional Music of the Mountains. Everyone can help "Harvesting the Garden".

September 8 - Saturday (1-4 PM)
Albemarle Pipes & Drums - Part of a special Art in the Park day of activities.

September 16 - Sunday (2-4 PM)
Blue Mountain Sunrise - Local Favorite Bluegrass & Gospel Band on hand again to close out the Humpback Music Season as a part of Fall Farm Fest weekend.

Sunday, August 19  WHAT'S THAT BIG GREEN PLANT IN THE GARDEN?
From slaves to modern tobacco farmers, there has been singing in the fields and garden. Let's sing along with Blue Mountain Sunrise who feature Traditional and Old Time mountain music, with special entertainment for children and flat footing.

Sunday, September 2  HARVESTING THE GARDEN
What does it take to make it through the winter? Everyone in the garden! We need help! Close Enough, a local band with a Bluegrass sound will play traditional music of the mountains (2-4 PM)

Saturday, September 8  MOUNTAIN ART DAY
(Virginia portion of the Parkway) What we consider Art today may have been a necessity in a mountain home. Quilting, Basket Making, Pottery and Blacksmith demonstrations. Art of Visitors (especially the Children) will be collected during the preceding week and displayed on the Mountain Farm's fences for all to enjoy. Albemarle Pipes & Drums perform (1-4 PM)

Saturday, September 15  FALL FARM FEST FAMILY DAY
Join in Oldtime Mountain Games. Learn "Oldtime" Mountain Crafts. Blacksmithing. Dave & Carol Erhardt provide a Dulcimer Workshop & Spinning Demonstration. Traditional Dance Workshop and performance with "Farm Use String Band" (1:30-4 PM)

Sunday, September 16  FALL FARM FEST
Blue Mountain Sunrise - Bluegrass and Gospel Band close out the Humpback Music Season (2-4 PM as a part of FALL FARM FEST weekend).
QUILTING - Cabin Porch Fun - Rose Meese. Dave Erhardt - Dulcimer Workshop & Carol Erhardt - Spinning Demonstration. Frying Pan Throwing Contest. Herbal Display. Country Store talks by Joe Morse. Old Carriages and Percheron Draft Horses.

Sunday, October 7  OLDTIMERS' DAY AT HUMPBACK
Local folks born and raised with family connections to the mountains are welcomed to share stories and remembrances. Refreshments will be served.

Sunday, October 14  APPLE DAY/FAMILY FUN
Activities for the entire Family. Bring the dog. Play with homemade toys. Go fly a kite! Games & hands on activities. Apple Butter making and what Apples meant to folks in the mountains.
