Effective July 31, 2013,
Blue Ridge Mountain Sports regrettably announces the immediate closing
of its Short Pump location in Richmond Virginia due to unfortunate
market conditions and a challenging location.
“Despite the
premature exit, our company really enjoyed the nearly 30 years we spent
in Short Pump, which has a passionate outdoor community that extends
throughout the greater Richmond area.”
Officials of the outfitter, which celebrated 40 years in business last
year, said despite the closing, the company is continuing its mission to
provide top-quality outdoor gear and apparel to customers at remaining
locations in Virginia, Tennessee and New Jersey.
Remaining inventory at the Short Pump store will be distributed to the remaining stores.
